Join the 2026 team on March 7

All breast cancer survivors in East Central Illinois who are interested in being a part of Illinois’ first breast cancer survivor dragon boat team are invited to attend the 2026 Prairie Dragon Paddlers Annual Kick-Off Breakfast on March 7, from 8-11 a.m. at the Stratford Park Bible Chapel gym, 2801 W. Kirby Ave., Champaign.

Learn about the team and how to be a part of this not-for-profit organization that works to inspire hope and contribute to the health and well-being of breast cancer survivors through the sport of dragon boating. PDP also sponsors wellness events for the public and for paddlers, supports breast cancer research, and participates in regional and international dragon boat races with other breast cancer survivor division teams.
