2024 Pink Paddle Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser
Come out to Kolb Park in St. Joseph, IL, for PDP’s 2024 fundraiser, the Pink Paddle Pickleball Tournament. Players and spectators are welcome! Cheer on the teams as they play to benefit the mission of Prairie Dragon Paddlers. Donations encouraged. Kansas City Dragon Boat Festival
PDP’s third and final race of the 2024 season is at a new venue for the team — Shawnee Mission Park in Kansas City! The team will compete in three 500m races in the Breast Cancer Survivor Division.
Annual Friends & Family Day
Join the team for its annual gathering in the early fall when friends, family members and others who may be interested can try their paddling skills in a dragon boat out on Homer Lake. Food and fun included!
Wellness Talk (open to the public)
Breast cancer survivors and their supporters are welcome to attend this free event. Hear from local experts about issues affecting health and wellness. Topics featured: “Osteoporosis and Bone Pain: Why some cancer therapies cause it and what you can do about it” and “Female-Focused Fueling: The role of nutrition as we age”
